3D STUDIO
Water Chemistry Simulator
Model pH, GH, KH, nitrate and phosphate over time as substrate, hardscape, CO₂, fertiliser and water changes interact.

How to use it
- Enter your source water parameters. Everything is modelled against that baseline.
- Choose substrate and hardscape — each has a different effect on pH and hardness.
- Set CO₂, fertiliser dose and water-change routine.
- Run the simulation and watch the curves move. Aqua soil drives KH down; Seiryu pushes GH up.
- Read the warnings: a pH crash, an ammonia peak, or a nitrate climb past 40 ppm.
- Export a water report with the stable ranges and the recommended routine.
What it outputs
- Stable pH range
- GH / KH advice
- Nitrate / phosphate balance
- Water-change interval
- Risk warnings
- Water report export
Note. This is an educational model, not a prediction. Simulated results are indicative only — real aquariums involve live animals, and you should follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions and the welfare limits stated throughout this site. CO₂ above 30 ppm harms fish and shrimp.
